Competitors in the Sailor's Hornpipe Scottish dance heats during the 2022 Drumtochty Highland Games. These were held in the grounds of Drumtochty Castle, Auchenblae, Kincardineshire, Scotland on 25th June 2022. The Sailor's Hornpipe was originally a Celtic dance and is one of the Scottish National Dances, originally played on a hornpipe rather than bagpipes. It is also one of the few Highland Dances that has its own unique costume for competitions and the moves imitate many shipboard activities
