The move to Rumble is the latest development in the Dr Disrespect streaming saga that began four years ago. In 2020, Dr Disrespect, whose real name is Herschel “Guy” Beahm, was banned from Twitch with little explanation mere months after signing a multi-million dollar exclusivity deal.

Dr Disrespect isn’t actually leaving YouTube behind completely when he starts streaming according to Rumble’s CEO Chris Pavlovski.

The streamer, who has an audience of millions, admitted in June he had sent messages he described as “inappropriate” to a minor in 2017, costing him plenty of brand deals.

Guy Beahm, the streamer better known as Dr Disrespect, has joined the right-wing streaming platform Rumble, not just as a streamer but also as lead of Rumble Gaming —not esports talent agency of the same name, which is unrelated, but the platform's gaming-focused livestream category.
