Saturday will mark Rountree’s first shot at gold in the UFC. The American has won five straight fights, including a win via TKO against Anthony Smith on an episode of Fight Night back in December. He has a career record of 13-5, with one no-contest, also having nine victories by knockout.

There are two big title fights going down on Saturday, Oct. 5 at UFC 307 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City with the women’s bantamweight title on the line in Pennington (c) vs. Peña and the men’s light heavyweight championship being contested in Pereira (c) vs. Rountree Jr.
