In time, the dynasty-era Patriots will force the Hall’s hand. Rob Gronkowski becomes Hall eligible in 2027. Tom Brady will become a first-ball Hall of Famer a year later. Bill Belichick is another lock, just like Brady. Fringe candidates like Stephen Gostkowski and Julian Edelman will be up for consideration next year.

Left for dead when the season began, the Patriots (3-8 SU, 4-6-1 ATS) have been boosted by rookie QB Drake Maye’s emergence. Maye looks like he can become the next franchise quarterback, so there is plenty of hope left in this season.

The New England Patriots finally look like they have their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye. Now they just need to figure out how to build around him, and quickly.
