A lorry has fallen from a bridge on the M6 and landed overturned on the embankment below. The incident happened between junctions 20 and 21 at the Thelwall Viaduct near Warrington, Cheshire, at about 18:50 BST,

The M6 northbound is closed after a lorry crashed through the barriers on the Thelwall Viaduct in Warrington and fell to the embankment below. Emergency services were called to the bridge after the vehicle fell almost 200ft from the busy road at around 7pm on Monday night.

Delays are expected throughout Tuesday morning after a lorry plunged 60 metres off an M6 motorway bridge - landing on the embankment below.
