Some models show as much as 18 inches of rain in parts of Central Florida. Invest 92-L formed in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday night, according to the National Hurricane Center, and could become a tropical depression early next week. It would be named Milton.

The tropics remain very active on Friday, including one system that could bring heavy tropical downpours to South Florida for most of next week.

Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center are monitoring a hyperactive Atlantic Basin with multiple named systems along with areas that could develop in the coming days.
