69-year-old Edward Bolstridge had gone missing on August 23rd in Westfield. His body was located on Monday in the Northern Maine woods after one of the air units of the U.S. Border Patrol saw his vehicle and alerted Maine Warden Service. The Maine Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating the cause of death.

The search for a Fort Fairfield man ended Monday after the Maine Warden’s Service located his body. Fort Fairfield Police Chief Matthew Cummings released a statement Monday evening detailing the investigation.

The body of Edward Bolstridge, 68, was found at around 2 p.m. Monday in the North Maine Woods, according to Fort Fairfield Police Chief Matthew Cummings.

A Maine man who had been missing since Aug. 22 has been found dead. According to the Bangor Daily News, the body of 69-year-old Edward Bolstridge of Fort Fairfield was found on Monday in the North Maine Woods west of Allagash Township.
