Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, and after that, it'll be championship weekend and the final College Football Playoff Rankings (the only ones you need to freak out about, even though so many of you freak out about the ones that don't matter).

Kansas has shaken off a 1-5 start and is now playing like the top 25 team many expected it to be in the preseason. A 42-14 win over Houston has aged well. There is no shame in losing 29-27 at Kansas State. And nobody has beaten Iowa State worse than KU did last week 45-36.

If Colorado simply handles its business the rest of the way and beats three teams, Utah, Kansas and Oklahoma State (with a combined record of 10-18), the Buffaloes will have a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game and a chance to play their way into the College Football Playoff, completing an incredible turnaround from last year’s four-win season.
