New York Mets owner Steve Cohen is scheduled to meet with free-agent outfielder Juan Soto and Soto's agent, Scott Boras, next week in Southern California, according to the New York Post. Soto and Boras are expected to meet with other owners and braintrust groups between now and whenever Soto makes his decision.

Per Puma, a number of other owners are set to meet with Soto and Boras in the "coming weeks."Beyond Soto, Boras represents several other high profile free agents such as Blake Snell, Corbin Burnes and Alex Bregman.

Scott Boras is starting to let out some morsels of information in the Juan Soto sweepstakes. The mega agent told reporters at the GM Meetings in San Antonio his client and the sport’s top free agent is prioritizing playing for teams with owners committed to “winning,” as noted by Newsday.
