The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded a boil water advisory for the City of Bazine public water supply system located in Ness County. The advisory was issued because the city could not maintain the minimum required chlorine residual.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment says Bazine cannot currently maintain the minimum required chlorine residual, which puts the system and water at risk of bacterial contamination.
