Jimmy Butler is currenlty serving his second team suspension of the season as he tries to force a trade out of Miami. The Heat went 3–4 during Butler's first suspension and were just 1–2 in the three games he played in before missing a team flight.

On Wednesday, the Miami Heat suspended Jimmy Butler for the second time in January. The star forward played three games with the team beginning on Friday before Miami suspended Butler for two games due to "insubordinate conduct and conduct detrimental to the team" after the 35-year-old missed the team's flight to play the Milwaukee Bucks at Fiserv Forum on Thursday night.
