The victory crowned a superb season for Djokovic, who won three of the four Grand Slams alongside the Tour Finals. This year, he misses the event without an ATP Tour title to his name.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alaraz have avoided a meeting at the ATP Finals for now - but they should still meet in Turin.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is not present at this year’s ATP Finals, having cited an injury as justification for his absence. Sinner will have to be especially careful with Alexander Zverev, who is very well in indoor conditions thanks to his excellent serve and has just won the Rolex Paris Masters.
