The Buffalo Bills have been busy ahead of free agency, as they signed Greg Rousseau, Khalil Shakir, and Terrell Bernard to long-term contract extensions over the past few days. On Sunday, rather than handing out an extension, they decided to move on from veteran pass rusher Von Miller in an effort to clear up some cap space.

During the Bills’ bye week, Miller was accused of a third-degree felony assault of a pregnant woman, the woman being his girlfriend. Miller turned himself in to police and posted bond. When he spoke to the media nearly a month later, he said the accusations were “100% false.” The team stood behind Miller, and he played the weekend after his arrest.
