When Robert Saleh was hired to be the head coach of the New York Jets in 2021, it was clear the former 49ers assistant never truly understood the pressures and expectations of the job. By his first game at the helm, it was clear Saleh's energy that made him a high commodity coach wasn't there.

Update: Jets are giving new head coach Aaron Glenn a five-year deal, per sources, contractually tying him to the organization through the 2029 season. Glenn will be under contract with the Jets through the 2029 season. That’s a solid contract length for a first-time head coach.
