For the first time since his ejection in Sunday’s win over the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions defensive back Brian Branch spoke to reporters about the hit that got him kicked out, showing remorse over how things went down.

A slow-mo video of the hit is currently making its rounds on social media. In it, Branch is seen clashing helmets with Packers wide receiver Bo Melton -- a hit that was deemed to be excessive enough to warrant an automatic ejection from the contest.
