A new wildfire in the Colorado mountains called the Pearl Fire forced evacuations on Monday. The evacuations were ordered for the Crystal Lakes area in Larimer County in near the Colorado-Wyoming state line.

The Pearl Fire burning north of Red Feathers Lake did not grow overnight and firefighters will focus Tuesday's efforts on the east side of the fire, which is closest to the Crystal Lakes neighborhood.
