Two strong earthquakes struck off Cuba’s coast Sunday, damaging homes and infrastructure and triggering landslides just as the country was in the middle of cleanup efforts following the landfall of major Hurricane Rafael last week.

A pair of strong earthquakes has struck off the southern coast of Cuba, inflicting damage and causing landslides.

Back-to-back earthquakes hit southeastern Cuba on Sunday, damaging houses, buildings and power lines as well as causing landslides, the goverment said.
