Veterans honored for their service at Veterans Day weekend events in the LA area
Veterans Day is always Nov. 11, but some events honoring veterans are being held over the three-day Veterans Day weekend.
Veterans Day free event honors military and first responders
“ VETFEST ” is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 at noon at Bossier City East Bank Festival Plaza. They invite all active military, veterans, first responders, and their friends and families to enjoy live music, local food vendors, a bounce house, a silent auction, and much more.

Veterans Day observances set for weekend, Monday in south, southwest suburbs
Lansing: The Lansing Veterans Memorial Ceremonial Honor Guard will conduct a Veterans Day Ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Veterans Memorial at Lansing Municipal Airport. The memorial is at the southeast corner of Burnham Avenue and Glenwood Lansing Road.
