A jury trial has been set for Jan. 22 for Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers, who pleaded not guilty in October to charges including strangulation and drug possession.

Peppers, who has not played in a game for the Patriots since he was arrested in early October, appeared via teleconference in Quincy District Court on Friday as the criminal case against him moves forward. He continues to plead not guilty to charges including strangulation and assault and battery.
