The initial public offering of NTPC Green Energy Ltd, the renewable energy arm of NTPC, subscribed 2.42 times on the closing day of the share sale, on Friday.

The shares of NTPC Green Energy are set to debut on Dalal Street today (November 27). While the IPO garnered strong interest from retail investors, the current grey market premium (GMP) indicates a potentially subdued listing.

NTPC Green Energy’s IPO debuted on November 27 at ₹111.5 on NSE, a 3.2% premium over the issue price. The IPO, valued at ₹10,000 crore, saw strong demand, closing 2.55 times oversubscribed, with retail investors booking 3.

Delhi-based NTPC Green Energy is selling its shares in the price band of Rs 102-108 apiece. Investors can apply for a minimum of 138 shares and its multiples thereafter.
