Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will likely not play in the team’s final game of the season, meaning Eric Dickerson’s NFL single-season rushing record will remain safe.

Saquon Barkley has said he wasn't scared of making history. Chasing Eric Dickerson's record was something he wanted to pursue, and something his teammates wanted to help him achieve.  Barkley let the decision come down to the Eagles.
