Terra Lawson-Remer held the advantage over a challenger with big name recognition, Kevin Faulconer, Tuesday in her race to remain on the Board of Supervisors.

As of early Wednesday, Lawson-Remer stood at about 56% of the vote compared to Faulconer's approximately 44%, according to numbers released by the county Registrar of Voters after the polls closed.
