On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the families of two survivors who resettled in Pittsburgh shared their stories.

Jan. 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day to memorialize the six million Jews and millions of other victims of Nazi persecution.

The 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz by Soviet troops is being observed this year. Auschwitz, largest of the Nazi concentration camps, remained operational from May 1940 until its liberation in January 1945.
