Transportation Minister Devin Dreeshen maintained he didn't kill the Green Line by pulling the province's share of the funding for it about two weeks ago.

In the weeks before his resignation, Logan was on leave from his job just as work was ramping up on the multibillion-dollar Green Line project. He received a payout of $471,596 upon his departure as part of a settlement reached between Logan and city management.

Calgary city council heard Tuesday the Green Line LRT project will cost a minimum of $2.1 billion once the project has wound down.That includes the estimated $850 million cost of discontinuing the project,
