Tom Nunan, the co-head of the Producers Program at the Graduate School of Theater, Film and TV at UCLA, told The New York Times in an email that “’Glicked’ may not be ‘Barbenheimer,’” but that it’s still something to celebrate.

"Barbenheimer" created a buzz with the success of “Barbie" and “Oppenheimer" last summer, and this year, there's a chance “Glicked" will develop a following among fans with the release of two major holiday films on Friday.

There's a new "Barbenheimer" in town, as two other highly anticipated blockbusters, "Wicked" and "Gladiator 2," have premiered on the same day. Last year, the polar-opposite movies "Barbie" and "Oppenheimer" were coincidentally released on July 21.
