Joined by his wife, Melania, daughter Ivanka, and son Barron, the Republican presidential nominee delivered a victory speech marked by confident declarations and gratitude to his supporters, despite some states not yet having declared their results.

It's not exactly standard fair for an election victory speech. Yes, there were a couple of aides, grandkids and a seemingly endless line of children and spouses but – much as his first presidency and third campaign – little about Donald Trump 's address to his fans in the wee hours of election night was traditional.
