President Biden will speak from the Rose Garden at the White House on Tuesday afternoon. He will reportedly announce that the U.S. and France have come to an agreement with Israel to accept a ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Netanyahu said that how long the ceasefire lasted would depend on what happened in Lebanon. "We will enforce the agreement and respond forcefully to any violation. We will continue united until victory," he said.

The Biden administration kept incoming President-elect Donald Trump’s administration closely apprised of its efforts to broker the ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah that is slated to go into effect early Wednesday.
