DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — An Israeli strike on a mosque in the Gaza Strip early Sunday killed at least 19 people, Palestinian officials said, as Israel intensified its bombardment of northern Gaza and southern Beirut in a widening war with Iran-allied militant groups across the region.

Meanwhile, Israel's military gave its first evacuation warning in weeks, telling civilians in areas of central Gaza to leave ahead of strikes targeting Hamas fighters.

Two Hamas officials have been killed in Israeli strikes on Lebanon. The IDF says it has killed the group’s executive authority in Lebanon, who was involved in planning terrorist attacks in the West Bank.
