Don’t think it’s a town that merits a specific bus tour to it. Hotel and restaurant are two separate entities. Restaurant only open in evenings, reservations only, not walk in i can’t add the weblink if you search for Ingólfsskáli Viking Restaurant their website provides the info you need. Car hire recommended
I would say 15 minutes in a car and 20 to 30 minutes by bus. It’s on the direct number 1 bus route. Outdoor thermsl spar and pools is about 10 mins walk or 2 mina drive from Viking Village.
