This is one of my favorite hikes for visitors — an easy hike (up West Ridge Trail) to a huge, spacious summit with 360 views. Hikers are well spaced so good for anytime but especially pandemic! Full review by Trekandmore

Hi, How was the descent down? How slanted were the bedrocks on the West Ridge Trail? My friends and I are hiking this in a few days. We also hiked to the summit of Mount Monadnock, but I found the descent a bit steep at points and was a bit scared. I'm worried that it'll be similar here. I would really appreciate hearing back from you. Thanks!

I took my 5 and 7 yr old on this hike. There were no problems with the descent. We took it slow. Enjoy it!
