I always wanted one but they cost too much. Now days I could collect every flavour of the iMac G3 for half the price of an original back when it was released. I wanted to keep the design alive.

WEBFeb 21, 2016 · More good news - I have solved the Airport card issue. As per my research of the internet - I just reattached the Airport card more firmly - it actually clicks on each end when it is properly attached. So now the iMac G3 400 DV SE is back to full health.

WEBMar 31, 2010 · I have 3 old iMac G3's...and one of them is making this "Pop, pop, pop" sound. It still works fine...but one of these days I'm afraid it will finally give out! FYI...if it helps at all. These old iMac G3's can occasionally be found for only $10-$20 dollars. Although I do see people selling them for $50+ on Craig's List.

WEBDec 27, 2009. #7. I have done a check on the Imac. It is a Imac 600 MHz PowerPC G3 original it had 256 MB but now it holds 384 MB. It runs on 10.3.9 perfectly. It has a CD drive. When I boot and hold the option key down it does only show me the harddrive but not the CD for booting with or without the CD in the drive.

WEBMay 25, 2007 · Hi, I just got my very first apple system yesterday - an old G3 slot-loading imac, 350MHz w 128MB RAM & 6GB drive. I think both the hard drive & the CD drive are dead. It was $20 on craiglist because it won't boot - it just goes to a gray screen with a flashing question mark.
