WEBNov 25, 2016 · I remembered having had a lot of fun (25 years ago) trying an arcade station already using a wind simulator... it was a game called "Propcycl" and I am sure that the blower was really small, however if the game was not that great (but really fun), this new concept has had already impressed me on how it was adding to immersion.

WEBNov 29, 2013 · Once you get the speed value setup in SimTools, then all that should be required from the interface output would be the axis the speed is on, i.e. <Axis7> unless the Arduino requires a startup sequence first. However, once the game is “patched” to work with SimTools, it may and likely wont work with your d-box software.

WEBApr 4, 2017 · In closed cockpit stuff you aren’t out in the wind so all I’m trying to mimic are fresh air vents and speeds are math'ed out lower anyway. In open cockpit stuff the winds are definitely higher ( * 1 ) and louder but now all I hear are the sim sounds and very realistic turbulence. Tons of wind but the turbulence drowns out the fan noise.

WEBJun 7, 2015 · Within the Game Dash settings, select the game FSX_P3D and click onto the pencil right beside Dash2, which is labeled "RPM" in FSX. Enter the 3 rows you are also using (MATH*5 etc.) and press Save. Game Dash Output Settings "per game": Enter the same settings as I did for the 2 other COM ports within Game Engine.

We are mapping 0 m/s to bit value 0. 70 m/s (+-250 km/h) to bit value 255 (the maximum speed) Any speed above 70 m/s will always output bit 255. I'm using Speed as the value. But in DCS for example, we have the wind value also.

WEBJun 19, 2023 · My Motion Simulator: 2DOF, DC motor, Arduino. I am using Race room experience and 1 fan start to blow when,I start the dash (Sim V3) at Medium speed. When I start driving 1 fan is responding the other keeps blowing a the same speed. I have changed the pins to make sure that there is no fault in the circuitboard.
